 IMPORTANT! READ DESCRIPTION!     I submitted this design before, but originally it had no meaning.  It was just me messing around with another design I had.  It's actually a trace of a trace of my right hand with the digital version copied and then mirrored.      Here are all the traditional and digital originals: cherokeegal1975.deviantart.com…     Anyway, I got this question in my head since I kept seeing gay pride rainbow flags off and on online.  Maybe it was gay pride month, I don't know since I don't keep track of these things.  I also don't care about flags...but I understand how powerful symbols can be.  Anyway, the question that came to mind was, is there a Diversity Pride flag?  One that symbolizes peace, tolerance, willingness to make friends with all peoples from everywhere.  It's something all the good people of the world can march behind and declare themselves to be part of a group who wants to fight against the evils in the world by a willingness to live peacefully with their neighbors no matter where they come from, what sexual orientation they are, rich, poor, middle class, any religious group...any group that might be discriminated against or not, coming together in a yearly event celebrating the best of humanity in all its diversity.  I can see it in my head, my hands symbol on a long pole hanging down with lots of people holding it up in front of a march, wearing it on t-shirts, holding up a massive version over heads to be seen from high up.       There's a lot of madness in this world and it needs to be combated.  Symbols are powerful and convey a lot of information all at once in one picture.  So, I would like to see this concept represented in my Hands design and have it really take off.  I don't know how to make something like that happen, so I'm doing what I can to spread the idea in hopes the right people see it and make it happen.  My hopes are not that high, I think this message will be ignored most likely.  Prove me wrong!  Let me see this flag being flown for the reasons I typed here and have people act on it in their every day lives and in the once a year march/party/event.     I'm also not posting this for any personal gain at all.  This is my little gift to humanity...and possibly animals too.  There's no reason they have to be excluded from an event whos foundation is based on compassion.  We are all connected anyway. 

Update 11/23/19:  Well...if you don’t like my design idea, could you at least keep the concept of “Diversity Pride”?  I guess my “Hands” design does look kind of ugly...especially on t-shirts.
