peachyyy nanami’s episode yesterday was so insane 😩 but some part of me was kinda scared seeing him so angry like that, it made me wonder if reader from divided universe has ever seen him that angry? not directed at her ofc but maybe she and/or hiroki having a close encounter with a curse

hiiii, lee!! ❤️ this is actually a really interesting question because I genuinely never even thought about the reader or hiroki having a serious encounter with the curse. I only mention it once in part 2 - where a curse manifests as part of the grief that the two of them experience when their marriage crumbles, but it was just a pesky little thing~

nanami is so, very fiercly protective of you and his son - it'll make an encounter with a curse near impossible. I imagine that it's something he confides to gojo about after you both get married - where he tells him that he needs to make sure that you (and eventually hiroki) stay completely safe from the world of sorcery. gojo has a hand in that level of security out of respect for nanami.

but I think that if you or hiroki ever encounter a curse in a serious manner - we would see that very same level of nanami's anger if not worse. everything switches off for him in that moment, because the only thought in his mind is to protect the two people who are the most precious to him. he will be very self sacrificial about it - putting himself directly in line of danger just to make sure that the two of you walk away without a single scratch. it's almost terrifying seeing this side of nanami that the reader doesn't recognize. he's violent, intimidating and scary. she's not used to observing her doting and extremely sweet husband in that light.

oh, but he is so deeply soft when his attention goes back to her or hiroki. the switch flips to the point where even his voice changes completely. the way he touches her, the way he holds his son contrasts the man who decimated the curse only a few seconds ago- it'll be the think that pulls him away from the world of sorcerery for good. the straw that breaks the camel's back if you or Hiroki suffer the consequences by any extent.

I’m considering how to write it in! I have a request where Nanami gets injured, so I was thinking of tying it up there somehow 👀 but it will absolutely not be canon 😂 I don’t do hurt/no comfort on this page 🥺

I am ruined. It feels like honey but dark chocolate at once- bitter but golden.

I saw the sneak peak on how Nanami calls the reader while drunk and I love that. I just wanted to add imagine when he’s arriving at your door but he’s hurt- it’s nothing extreme- but it’s a scratch and the reader immediately freaks out and cleans his wounds and he’s all sweet like (not in these words) “oh you’re so sweet. My wife is so good to me” even though you’re divorced, he still thinks you’re married while drunk. Fast forward to his talking and vulnerability he confesses his feelings again and it leaves the reader questioning if divorce really is the better option.

Regarding my longer fics + mini series - all stories will be completed unless I have made a note that the story has been abandoned. I have so many pieces sitting in my drafts lol but the truth is that I used to have a lot more incentive on updating my stories at a frequent pace but I just don't have that same kind of motivation anymore 🥺

I get really bad burn out whenever I push myself to finish writing something, but the lack of engagement with every post has really been messing with my enjoyment of this. I end up feeling really disappointed and frustrated, and it was all just bumming me out for a while 😂

I've been sharing posts/stories based on what I feel like recently but that's also why updates have been lagging with all my other fics 🥺 I really do appreciate your patience and I can't wait to share more of ex husband nanami with you in the future! ☺️🧡
