[◘]  the muns morning ritual

Okay, literally, I have five or six alarms to wake me up on schooldays (6:30, 7:00, 7:20, 7:30, 7:48, and 8:00 for M/W and 6:00, 6:30, 6:40, 6:50, and 7:00 for T/Th--I HEARD THIS IS AN ENFP THING??) and I don’t get up for nearly any of them, so I jump the fuck out of bed like 10-15 minute before I need to leave, change blindly because I have terrible vision, use the bathroom facilities, thump down the stairs to brew coffee, and maybe (probably not) grab something to eat. Monday through Wednesday, I drive to class, and Thursday, a friend drives me, so I have to walk to a mutual friend’s house at or before 7AM to get picked up.

[◙]  the muns bedtime ritual 

Nothing much. I brush my teeth and clock out on my bed--or mess with my phone until 3AM, but I’ve been sleeping before midnight lately (sometimes even before 9PM!!!) so I don’t really have that problem much. ... Though due to Fates, I’ve been sleeping later for the past week or so. Around midnight-ish.

Let’s go with Dearly Departed by Marianas Trench--specifically because when I first heard it, I was amazed at the beautiful lyrics and rhyme scheme of the second verse:

Spirited Away, hands down, has always been my favorite movie, and my favorite line is from Zeniba:

It’s hard for me to choose a favorite book... mainly because I don’t read a lot of books the whole way through. The only books I read all the way through because I really wanted to were the five-book series of the Chronicles of Vladimir Tod because it was a popular vampire series and didn’t suck ass like Twilight. And my favorite line from it actually discreetly mocks Twilight.

Vampires, after all, don’t sparkle.

That’s it. That’s literally my favorite like from the entire five-book series.

A tangle of limps and shared warmth, his body curled around her more as his face buried itself in her shoulder. It was easier than he usually liked to wake up but what was there to say, they had a lot they were going to do today. At, at least, attempt to. They had terrible habits forming of just lazing around in each other’s arms.

It wasn’t a bad thing but he wanted to do something nice for her. Something meaningful and if that meant pulling them both out of bed, so be it.

“Wake up, love,” he murmured in her ear, pressing his lips so earlier mentioned shoulder of hers. His arms, as always, wrapped around her gave a small squeeze. Jacinto couldn’t help but nuzzle into her as he continued his attempt at motivating them. “Let’s take a shower together...and have breakfast.” And do much more because really, who needed a day dedicated to these sort of things when they did stuff like that almost every single moment they were in each other’s presence? “Mi vida...I love you.”

Silver eyes gaze distantly. Already, she is drifting, further and further. Time became less important, she almost could feel herself pushing closer to the point of no return--an event horizon. Once there, she won’t come back for a long while and a part of her almost reached for it until she blinked.

A smile, calm and soothing like the ocean. He never worries when she became like this, he simple waited for her. Her chest tighten at the thought. Nobody should wait for her. Not when time wasn’t a concept, not when she couldn’t return without spending too long somewhere else.

It’s a rare display of affection as she pressed her face into his shoulder, closing the distance between them. She breathed in his scent and once again, she is reminded of the sea. Eyes close and here, she can feel a little piece of home or what was the closest thing to it. 

“Mmm...” Tired but not yet. “Forte. Can...you call me Sylph instead?”

Names were important. They signified something, a way to gauge one’s relationship with another. Fina would always be Fina to them, to the Sun, Fire, and Ocean but she was still Sylphina as well.

        “Ah... excuse me a second?”

She hugged a bunch of colorful papers together and with the other arm, tugged one in their direction.

        “Would you like a flyer? There’s going to be a dog petting competition in an hour to raise money.”

It was a commendable effort, however, she received quite a few strange looks already for what she was trying to do.

Where the Wind Blows

“You’re just in time. The blossomgale - it’s starting.”

Hearing footsteps behind him on the hill, Asbel off-handedly commented on the action. Gleaming then rising up into the sky - a flurry of purple petals floated into the fluffy clouded sky. Just like last year the purple sopherias could be seen against a white and blue backdrop. He wondered if a clear sky would cause the petals to be lost to the heavenly blue.

Not many wandered up the hill. Monsters still lingered along the path - willing to prey on weak unwary travelers. Thankfully, the healing spring remained - a soothing respite for the weary hiker. The monsters were but small fry to Asbel now after the nova monsters had run rampant.

“I think the blossoms will spread all throughout the world as far as the wind blows them. What do you think?”
