It felt like her life had been signed away. a great evil presence that had rooted on Inuja, against everything the ancient planet ever believed in. It was the only course of action they could take without the planet being destroyed. no one deserved to die because of this. but eris felt like she was dead. having to work alongside these...monsters.
she laid quietly in her pod, pale arms folded on top of her torso, dainty fingers holding each other tight in comfort. bright green eyes stared up at the stars while she whizzed by, the Inujan giving a heavy exhale. was there anything she could do to end this ? certainly her power could do something.. she was alone in this. no advisers, no help. every decision was up to her. it was make or break Inuja and the galaxy around them. the leverage to ensure they kept their end of the deal. every step had to be so careful..so calculated. these people were not the most reasonable.
tears were forbidden to be shed. but she wished more than anything to feel the pain being wrung from her soul, at least one tear. but it felt like failure to do so. to let everyone down. to show that the royal was not a deity of sorts.
hands squeezed together tightly, eyes glassy for a moment before eris shut them to calm herself and just enjoy the peace before the storm.
when she opened them the first order ship came into view, the contrast of sharp metal and bleak colors unmatched to a soft and pastel colored princess.
the pod stopped moving and she was greeted by imperial storm troopers, lifting her to quickly take her away. they really were in a rush to speak business. perhaps to ensure their own safety and that Inuja wouldn’t declare a state of emergency to have them attacked.
which she was right. GENERAL HUX and fellow commanding officers went down every detail, their blunt and cold nature painting these walls like a cell to rot in.
every once and a while the princess would nod and respond, giving her signature and before she knew it--it was all said and done. but someone in the corner of her eye when she was walking in. a being in all black and a mask felt familiar. but how could that be ?
she was stuck on it. the feeling brought her comfort somewhat from frigid personality. a place with no love. this was the closest thing.
the princess was brought to a quarter of a ship where she could roam freely without being in the way, until they needed her as it seemed.
it felt like she wasn’t alone, though.
eris turned around quickly, light cream and seafoam fabric twisting with her moves to be met with the familiar figure. she stared for a moment, brows furrowing in thought, waiting for him to say something while she looked him up and down.
