The Four Kingdoms and Five Temples (tarot tips)
If you are anything like me, you sometimes suck at knowing how to interpret tarot cards. Well, allow me to show you something I ended up doing that helps me.
I read a lot of books that categorize the Major Arcana into one or two of the four elements. I kept some of them and defenestrated the rest.
The following are my own categorizations of the Major Arcana, accompanied by the Court Cards.
Do your pendulum predictions come to pass?
It depends. All divination, pendulum included, offers insight as to the situation as it stands RIGHT NOW. Changing factors in your life, even changing your behaviors and mindset, can change the outcome of the reading. In my experience, my readings are pretty accurate, but please keep in mind- YOU are in charge of your own future!
You have the power to change your own life, and nothing is set in stone!
Does anyone have any books on Norse Runes (specifically trying to learn about the Elder Futhark runes) because I am trying to read through "A Little Bit of Runes: An Introduction to Norse Divination" by Cassandra Eason and none of it just clicks with me. It is not meshing and almost feels just wrong. I am even comparing it to the book I got with my Rune Deck (The Runic Oracle Odyssey) by Eva Delacourt which has in some cases totally different meanings. Tarot at least is easier for me to grasp, but runes have always been challenging to me. Maybe I am just not liking the feel of the book by Eason (this is my first time reading anything by her) but I genuinely cannot seem to find a book with consistent information. Maybe I am in the wrong, but I have literally the strongest feeling of, "Do not continue that book just put it down because it is wrong and not what you need". It gets praised a lot online but I just do not see how it can be praised. It doesn't feel consistent when you read the meanings and maybe the bits on rune casting and such will be better in here, but reading the meanings feels generic and looking at a lot of them so far, they almost feel the same as if this was just some generic copy and paste. Any recommendations would be so appreciated!
So... this is interesting. Spirit Halloween is selling a deck of generic “tarot cards” for $4. They are taking pre-orders, and say they’re “EXPECTED TO SHIP ON OR BEFORE 9/15/17.″ Shipping price in the United States is something like $6 for standard... but even then, this is one of the better prices for a deck I’ve ever seen.
Problem is, there are literally NO STANDARDS for a tarot deck when it comes to actual content. This was clearly proven by the Dollar Tree Tarot. So I have no clue what will actually be in this deck if I actually do buy it.
Worth the risk? What do you think, witchcraft side of Tumblr?
New Toy Alert!
Bought a pendulum last weekend (pics to come) and I need some tips on how to use it. If anyone has advice on pendulum use, I would love to chat about it!
