“Know thyself” is something I’ve taken into account,
a principle I’ve applied.
All thanks to you and the Divine Trickster,
I’ve learned to accept myself.
So, hear me, Far-Shooter.
Son of great Zeus and blessed Leto,
I honor you.

This poem is dedicated to…well, it’s in the name
Just a little devotional poem I wrote! ^^
Yes, there's a reference to the Hermetic Principles too, albeit subtle. You can see it in the verse of "a principle I've applied," with "along with [...]" implied.
the divine trickster reigns from the very top of the planetary ladders as illustrated in ancient art and texts. one of the games is played through the archetypes of these planets and signs, in latin ‘personality’ is ‘personae’, the “mask.” the planets and signs are symbols of the inner life, a mixture of ideas, stories, and characters preserved in the subconscious memory. the birth chart is the mask you wear while you do the work of the soul. this is no prepackaged and pre-programmed personality either. take the good, the bad, both, or nothing at all, choose at will.
your eternal soul does not have a twelve month or twelve year astrological sign, but it has always been present and always will be, and in between the abyss of these planets and signs, you may be able to sense its immortal presence
