Guys, right now I am deeply immersed in studying Jungian psychology. My new works will sometimes move in this direction.
The initial stage is "paradise wholeness." Consciousness is still asleep; the individual does not separate themselves from the world.
In the center is the image of the Fool (Arcanum 0 of the Thoth Tarot). He is an androgyne (in my case, a child), a symbol of pure potential that has not yet awakened. He lives in a "toy reality" given to him by the Mother — a safe illusion that replaces the real world.
The multiple hands around him represent the archetype of the Great Mother. She protects and nurtures, but at the same time engulfs, preventing growth. The gestures of the "three wise monkeys" (see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil) here signify not only protection from evil, but also forced blindness. This is a "golden cage" — there is no pain and no choice here, but the individual self does not exist yet either.
The moment of separation and awakening.
The central symbol here is the gaze. The eye opens (Oculi), which signifies the birth of the Self and the beginning of consciousness. To see the world, one must break the circle of the maternal hands and step out of the state of "blissful ignorance."
The child lets go of the block and pushes away the mother’s hand. This is a rejection of imposed illusions. The safe, artificial world collapses. The journey to the self begins with the readiness to see reality as it is, leaving the cozy but confined space in the past.
