CLAWS: NAGA VS GRIMA
ANNA: “Talk about ending things off with a bang... Our final claws match of the day pits the divine dragon Naga against her sworn enemy, the fell dragon Grima. I only hope their battling it out won’t get... Out of hand. Oh, but this happened last year too, didn’t it? I guess it’ll be alright!”
EMM: “Go Naga! I believe in you, Naga!”
CHROM: “Isn’t it basically illegal for us to root for Grima? I take that back - that joke might be in ill taste given our father is on the tournament grounds...”

The two dragons transform, larger than any other competitor. They begin the fight in the air, colliding over the beach. Naga gains an early upper hand by whipping her tail around to strike Grima’s side in a powerful hit.
Grima First Strike: 2
Naga Defense: 7
Naga’s hit sends Grima downward, nearly crashing back into the sand below. But, with a snarl, Grima tries to recover, propelling herself up again and charging at Naga. But the divine dragon dodges, flying to the side so that Grima overshoots.

CHROM: “Questionable humour aside, I can’t say I dislike this outcome.”

Naga dodged Grima’s first strike, but she has a bad angle when she tries to make a move. Grima anticipated Naga’s move and wraps her long tail around Naga’s middle, pinning her in mid-air, scoring a point. But she doesn’t let that be all. Grima then tosses Naga down to the sand below, scoring a second point for a double-hit.

With her opponent laying prone, Grima dives. She lands directly on Naga’s exposed, scaly belly. She gets in another strike before Naga pushes Grima off and gets back up.

EMM: “Oh no! Oh... Naga, it’s alright! You can still recover!”
CHROM: “Don’t worry Emm - remember all the stories you read to us as children? The hero always makes a comeback right when it seems they’re about to lose.”

Recovering from Grima’s triple strikes makes Naga slow. She swings her tail around, but Grima dodges, jumping back into the air.

Grima refuses to give any ground and rushes back at Naga before the divine dragon can return to the air. Grima whips her massive tail against Naga’s side, knocking Naga back and scoring another point.

CHROM: “...This just makes it more dramatic.”
Naga Fourth Strike: 6
Grima Defense: 6
Naga bares her claws and leaps at Grima. But Grima’s fangs are long and she catches Naga’s strike in her maw, effectively locking their weapons before pushing Naga back.

Grima lets out a loud screech and strikes like a snake, attempting to bite Naga. But the divine dragon dodges by taking flight again and gaining the high ground.
Naga: 1 Grima: 3
EMM: “It’s not too late, Naga! You can still recover!”
Naga Fifth Strike: 13
SNAIL Disadvantage: 3
Grima Defense: 15
Naga whips her tail down at Grima, trying to make another strike. But Grima rolls to one side like a wiggly worm on the sand, dodging the hit.
Grima Fifth Strike: 5

Grima tries to wrap her tail around Naga’s foot and yank her out of the air, but Naga isn’t having any of that. She flaps her wings and flies higher, out of reach.

The match is about to end, as both dragons are fatigued. But Naga dives back to the beach, pinning Grima beneath her claws for one last strike. Grima transforms back into her human form as she is hit.

EMM: “Oh... Oh, Naga, you had such a strong finish... It’s alright, though! I still believe in you, Your Holiness!”
CHROM: “...My side hurts. I’m getting a drink. Lemonade. Maybe with a shot of Nohrian vodka. Or the entire bottle.”
