“It still astonishes me every time I have to grade these exams exactly how many students don’t listen to me. Maybe I haven’t been teaching long, but I think I have a decently demanding presence.” Nolan shrugged his shoulders, leaning back in his chair as if it helped him to sigh so deeply. The students were one thing, but the exams were works of art themselves. They were tragedies, and he thought only to blame himself for the missed questions. “Maybe I need to rewrite my course, come up with new lesson plans and try something different. I don’t remember being this terrible at my job.” The red head shot his eyes towards the blonde, tossing the remainder of papers in his hands onto the desk. “You were never bad at this class, you tell me what’s wrong with it. I need your opinion, and don’t be afraid to tell me the hard truth.”
