SJCAM C100+ 30M 2k Action Camera Intro:
Weighing in at just 40 grams, the C100+ plus packs in a bunch of features. While the camera is light and miniature with dimensions of 60x26x20mm, it has a sturdy build. The camera comes with a 30 meter waterproof case. The quality on the door gasket clasp is sturdy and tight. There is no way that water will enter the C100plus case.
The C100+ also comes with several mounts. There is a frame mount that allows you to mount on biking helmet, or in your car as dashcam, and record audio as well.
One of my favorite things that is included with the C100+ plus is the sturdy lanyard string. I’ve seen many lanyards in my life, and this one looks good and feels great.
At 1.5 feet, this strap as an adjustable clamp. This could be strapped on anyone from Shaq O’Neil to Webster! The SJCAM logo print looks good and it doesn’t feel like its an ad. The strap has a nice width; you could actually strap a much heavier camera like the SJ10pro to it without any problems of having the lanyard string snap. They say its the little things that count; this lanyard could offer a bunch of value depending on how you intend to use it with the C100plus.
The rest of the mouting accesories are pretty complete. SJCAM always provides more accesories than is needed. This is good though as they cover all the user requirements at once.
The Micro USB cable also feels solid and is 2 feet long. While some readers may like to see a type-c port on everything, the microUSB cable is a nice trade-off for the C100+ Plus’ affordable budget price.
The one accessory i may use the most is the clip mount. This allows the aspiring vlogger to capture exciting footage in stealth mode. Just clip the C100+ plus onto your shirt pocket and begin filming. I’d definitely recommend the black model and wear dark clothes if you want to be in true stealth mode. This clip allows you to use the C100+ plus as bodycam if you choose to.
The one thing that I still haven’t gotten to is shooing 2k@60fps footage. Due to the current covid-19, I’ve been a hermit recently. We’ll definitely get out on a sunny day and shoot some footage.
