Divinity tends to put on a front for most people. She acts like the weight of others past and emotions doesn't effect her, especially since she's not open about the full extent of her powers. Even with X and Nine ,she has only told them that she can partially see the future and past with the tarots.

Headcanon Time:

This is kinda told if you squint during episode 24's ending, BUT girlie can tell the future through her cards. But to go into depth she can see it visually but can't tell when or where its going to happen. Also she can change the fate of those she has the cards of, but since her playing cards are of the top 10(Technically she should have 13 cards, but I'll figure something out later) she doesn't have much of a choice in who's fate is being changed.

Does this make sense?😭😭

divinity has well over a 6 digit number on her arm. Thanks to her mother specifically performing a song that she and divinity wrote about her powers. This way it gives divinity some control over how her powers manifested and helps her stay obscure to people like the Commission. Especially since her mother goes out of her way to not perform it in the city.

I guess you could call Divinity a bit of a control freak.

To go more into Divinity powers, its kinda like she possess the person on the past but not. She has all their senses in those past memories that she see and their emotions, but she can't do anything. The future on the other hand she's way more limited because it hasn't happened and things like emotions are subject to change. But depending on how long the reading is , she could be stuck with the emotions and feelings of the person she read for days. Also depending on the past trauma that she sees she gets really sick from the clashing of her emotions and sense of self and the other person's.

Girl is going through it and is only charging $30.

Despite everything Divinity hasn't told anyone her own past or about her life. She'll tell people the basics like she has a mom and dad and that she went to school with Smile's daughter. But outside of that she redirect any details on the off chance that she decides to run away. It gives her something to run back to and generally hide away forever. Which is very ironic when she can see portions of others past and future through the tarots.
