And I bet Viktor would keep a copy of every tabloid and pin them up like Nimona’s murder wall. Maybe he even starts getting involved, just to fuck with the journalists, a la Tobey Maguire’s Peter Parker—feeding blurry and clearly edited Kate Middleton style photos to the press of Jayce’s “mysterious unknown ex.” But they’re just pictures of like… the back of Blitzcrank’s head. But it still gets these guys in a frenzy, analyzing each and every detail of the photos and sending them on even more wild goose chases.
All the while, there’s a new article about it every day, and of course they’re delivered to Jayce’s front door, so he doesn’t have a moment of peace. And he knows what Viktor is doing, knows what Renata’s team is doing, but he’s backed into a legal hole… he can’t settle up and admit that it was Viktor because of the council, but he certainly can’t keep on like this…
