Blessing #57: Awesome Weekend with My Diwatas
Four beautiful, bubbly and optimistic ladies in YFC- Arianne, LynnVie, Haydi and Meanne. That's part of who we are in college. Okay, I'm probably being biased here because I am part of that group. He,he,he. But they wouldn't call us "diwatas" or "fairies" for nothing. Our group name sounds so girly, fancy or frilly for others but we love it. At first, it was a joke but we have embraced and lived those little goddesses in us. He,he,he.
We don't usually have this chance to be together. Everyone is busy with their own lives now. Each chose a different but wonderful path. But when we find time, it's always awesome and unforgettable. Arianne wasn't there because she's in Canada with her husband but hey, there's Skype. I am so proud of these guys and I am happy that we are part of each others' some victorious moments and journey to adulthood. I am proud that each becomes a pleasant avatar of life who blesses others through kindness, adventures and optimism. I respect them for who they are specially that they have made bold decisions and have taken big risks in life that made them stronger women.
We all started in YFC and we will always be YFC at heart because we have each other that connects us to where we started. It's a nice thought that you will always have this family you can go home to when everything becomes toxic. I don't have siblings but God is good for blessing me with interesting, beautiful and wonderful friends!
