This is one I am tedious to post, largely because it could go either cute or gaudy very fast, but I'll leave it to your capable discretion! It's your house, not mine!
This is a simple and cheap way to craft a few little sculpture pieces to spruce up a room. Make sure to use spray paint for plastics (yes, it comes in such metallic shades or a variety of other colors, if you so choose) if you're working on plastics.
I've also seen people do this to fake fruit for a bowl, or pine-cones during the Holiday Season and it turned out really cute!
