#TBT Flash back to when I was building the window for the vocal booth! I used four layers of quarter inch tempered glass. It had a 3 1/2” air gap in the middle and 2 layers on each side wich had 1/4” air gap between them. This was my first time building a window of this nature. It came out great and definitely serves it’s purpose! I will say.... when the day comes to build a window for the next control room it will have slanted glass and a thicker air gap in the middle.
