I love how you (nice new name and icon btw) sent me this and @brachoman (shady ho <3) called me out to do this. So here’s some self love to start out the new year.
1. I am unapologetically black and queer and have no intentions of letting this world diminish my existence.
2. I have somehow surrounded myself with some of the most beautiful, talented, intelligent, driven, caring people and that I can learn and grow around them and they from me.
3. My ability to weave worlds with words is constantly improving and I can create stories that I am legitimately proud of.
4. Despite umpteenth hardships and complications, I’ve put in a lot of work into my education and am loving the results.
5. I still share some of the same passions I had as a child and have the ability to make my passions a career.
Now, I know I’m supposed to send this to bla bla bla but in the spirit of new years, everyone deserves some self love. So I want everyone who sees this to do it.

What was your favorite moment in Moana? It was such a good movie and it made me cry.
I lost count on how many times I was tearing up lol. I actually just saw it again yesterday. I think my favorite part is before, during and after “I am Moana.” The music is good, Moana’s emotions really well in the song and to see her fix up the boat and continue on her journey basically alone was really powerful.

What was your favorite part of the latest SU episode?
The ending. I live for the bittersweet so seeing the gang leave to balance out that steven and onion are getting closer was well done.
