This recipe echoes one of my favorite hot drinks- dried elderberry, honey and lemon with hot water. Every time I get so much as a tickle in my throat, I grab my dried elderberries! I figured why not make a soap and get similar benefits in the shower. It has honey, lemon oil, dried elderberry, lavender oil, peppermint oil, argan oil, rose hip seed oil, sunflower oil, jojoba oil and aloe vera gel.
My storage situation was not working so I got a cheap IKEA dresser, painted it, added mosaic stickers, new knobs, a side organizer for recipes, some risers and voila!!! This was so much fun to do (and looking at the top, I might need to do it again REAL soon)
Another day, another creation. I make face soap yall!!! Here’s a face wash I made with activated charcoal, chia seeds (exfoliation), collidial oatmeal, rose water, argan oil, vitamin e oil, jojoba oil, almond oil, flax oil, and my new fave: rosemary oil...I’ve been using this for the past 3 weeks and my face has never been this clear!
I have been making beauty products and using essential oils the past few weeks and it has been a source of great joy and peace. I am planning to post lots of pics and share my experience with the tag #diyasmeen (corny, I know)
