My DIY Carpet Cleaner Adventure: 10 Homemade Recipes I Tried (and Loved!)
Last month, I went full DIY scientist mode and tested 10 homemade carpet cleaner recipes on my trusty machine—just for fun, curiosity, and a cleaner home. Spoiler: Most of them actually worked better than I expected!
#1 – Baking Soda + Vinegar

A bit fizzy, a lot effective. Stains faded, and everything smelled clean! Definitely a keeper.
#3 – Coffee Grounds
Pro tip: Coffee grounds don’t clean stains… but they do leave a lovely coffee aroma! Bonus: My carpet smells like a café now.
#4 – Water + Elbow Grease
Turns out, simplicity wins. Just some good old-fashioned effort and water made my carpet look brand new. Machine Status: Proudly efficient. Me: Ecstatic.
