Three years ago people told us it was impossible. That taking on a renovation of this magnitude would leave us broke and dissatisfied, because what we wanted versus what we could have, were so dissimilar. Luckily, we didn’t listen (mainly due to our own stubbornness), attacked it in stages, and now here we are on the cusp of finishing the world’s longest DIY kitchen renovation. People will always tell you what you can’t do, but never be afraid of taking the leap of faith to find out what you can do. Dream big, dig deep, pray hard, surrounded yourself with people who are good to their core, learn to ask for help, and ignore the naysayers. Sometimes you will literally have to tear down the walls that are in your way.
