How to open a heavy door
Step 1: See a door approaching. Say to your mom, “Are you thinking what I’m thinking?”
Step 2: Watch as mom opens the door and walks out. Obviously, the answer to the first question is a no.
Step 3: Stomp feet and spin in circle until she comes back in.
Step 4: Once door shuts behind her, wipe tears from eyes, place hands on lower window are of the door and puuuuush.
Step 5: Door remains shut.
Step 6: Push more. Harder. Maybe stomp your feet because that always help.
Step 7: Glance at mom who is holding her hand dangerously close to the silver bar in the middle of the door. What is she, blind? Yell, “noooooo,” affirming your desire to do it yourself.
Step 8: Realize that silver bar must be magic. Raise one hand higher to push on it.
Step 9: Door opens just the slightest bit. Push push push!
Success! Now get yourself to the bounce house set up in the parking lot to celebrate.
