10 facts about Dizzy!
((This was originally meant to be part of an ask meme request from AGES ago, sent in by @theamazinglei, but unfortunately I got WAY sidetracked and never got around to answering it...so here it is on its own!))
Dizzy was originally meant to be my "toonsona", like how I've seen other artists online draw themselves--unfortunately, I don't exactly draw all that often, nor do I have a well-established-enough online presence that would require a "sona", so that idea fell through pretty quickly. I still have the original (unfinished) sketch of proto-Dizzy kicking around in a notepad somewhere...
She’s autistic!! (coded in-universe thanks to being voiced by+heavily modeled off of her voice actress, who is ALSO autistic)! She’s got a lot of physical and vocal stims--bouncing, handflapping, and singing/talking to herself in different voices!
Going off of the above, Dizzy also wraps her arms around herself to calm down, as a form of deep pressure stim (this became A Thing in the DnD campaign where I’m playing as her).
I originally envisioned her as being 15-16 years old (based on a tidbit I read about Betty Boop being 16), but that got scrapped bc of Reasons and now she’s hovering somewhere around 19--she’s just a very youthful adult!
My voiceclaim for her is Sarah Stiles as Spinel! (specifically, reformed!Spinel, because her “evil” form is a bit too...unhinged and mean-spirited for Dizzy dfhjskfh) A lot of Dizzy's mannerisms are also heavily influenced by good!Spinel, albeit toned waaaay down--less of the Pinkie Pie-esque over-the-top childish enthusiasm and more general Cloudcuckoolander-ness. Though in Dizzy’s case, it’s more a product of being brought up in a literal Hellscape surrounded by ex-human weirdos in varying states of mental stability--she doesn’t bat an eye at half the horrors within the Studio because it’s all she’s ever known. How is she supposed to know that sentient ink creatures and leaving out offerings for the literal demon wandering around are “weird”?
My original inspirations for Dizzy's design/personality (aside from her being a cartoony version of me, ofc) were various Fleischer Studios characters--namely, Olive Oyl and Sally Swing!
She’s pansexual (in case you couldn’t tell from my icon hsgjsgkj). The flag even happens to be in her favorite colors!
She has an odd...aversion towards any sort of pressure on her neck. Scarves, heavy blankets, necklaces...if it’s too snug around her throat it needs to come off immediately. It’s best not to ask her about it.
Contrary to appearances, Dizzy does have bones and internal organs! They're just extremely rubbery and flexible :)
Her hobbies include gardening, tap dancing, and collecting knicknacks! Dizzy’s various hideouts throughout the studio usually have a few choice pieces of old Bendy merchandise on display, plus plants that she’s managed to cultivate in empty soup cans and other containers.

SFKSDFJDHKJFDSD it’s all good dudeI assign you……Dizzy kin!!! (feat. Official Art by the ever-so-talented @boopasnoops!)
A Joey Drew Studios Cartoon!Originally a one-off background character voiced by Susie Campbell, Dizzy Dee (as she came to be known) was eventually given a starring role in her own cartoons, along with a new voice actress: amateur Foley artist/singer Dorothy Mays!Dizzy is characterized as a simple “girl next door”: cheerful but oblivious, with an ever-present desire to help that more often than not sends her blundering headlong into trouble! She has a musical side, too, and an endearingly off-kilter style of tap-dancing (provided by Mays herself!)
Numbers 3, 7, and 16 for Dizzy 👀👀👀
(ohshit i wasn’t expecting anyone to actually Send stuff for this but dkfjgskdf why not let’s go–)
3. What’s something pointless/petty/unimportant that IRRATIONALLY ANNOYS THE HELL out of your OC?
People who don’t say “please” or “thank you”. Even if they’re not even speaking to her specifically–when, say, they’re ordering at a restaurant or something–Dizzy’s just like “????”. It baffles her how people can be so casually rude.
7. Realistically, could your OC (in their normal circumstances- i.e. at thier own house/battlecamp/spaceship etc.) keep a small child alive for a week if they had to? A Dog? A Houseplant? A rock with a smiley face painted on?
Dizzy’s actually really good with plants! She has an entire cartoon about her tending to her garden (though it’s made up of silly visual puns–a “collie flower” that’s a literal dog’s head on a flower, “bluebells” that chime like wedding bells, etc.)
Actual children, on the other hand…I feel like it’d turn into a “Roger Rabbit & Baby Sherman” type scenario: Dizzy keeps getting distracted while the kid she’s meant to be looking after wanders into various potentially life-threatening situations, only for Dizzy to realize, panic and swoop in at the last second, getting injured in all sorts of over-the-top, slapstick-y ways while the kid remains miraculously unharmed.
16. How strong or weak is your OC’s Impulse control? What’s the worst thing that happened becuase of thier Impulsivity or inability to be so?
Having Zero Impulse Control is pretty much Dizzy’s whole character. Combined with how overly trusting she can be, it’s led to. Quite a few Escapades
I’d say…..her taking up a shady “job offer” to get a role as a singer that led to her getting kidnapped/held for ransom by the Butcher Gang (she escaped, thankfully)
(OC questions to help with characterization!)
2, 6, 8, 30, 45 (for the oc ask thingy)
(I’m gonna assume you’re going with Dizzy for these ^^;)
What is their voice like?
Aw geez…I haven’t given it much thought, buuut she’d probably just sound like me? but with more of an overly sweet and peppy, “oh golly gee” way of speaking (if that makes sense hsndhsd)
What do they like to wear?
Generally casual skirt/button-up combos. She’s not too fussy about her appearance, as long as she’s comfortable.
What’s the weirdest thing they’ve ever eaten?
A box of EXTREMELY stale cookies she found in the back of the pantry.
Sunrise or sunset?
Sunrises! Sometimes she’ll get up suuuper early just to watch the sun come up.
Do they believe in ghosts?
Not that she’d admit, but yes.

73. What is your OC’s favorite form of entertainment?
(Going with my BatIM fan OC Dizzy!)
After spending most of her existence confined to a handful of rooms, Dizzy is no stranger to making her own fun: finger painting with ink (either on any paper she can find or, barring that, directly on the walls), listening to, and dancing along to, music (a working phonograph is a rare delight, since most of the radios in the studio seem to only pick up a single station--she especially loves listening to her friend Sammy play piano or banjo, but he almost never has the time for that nowadays...), or simply wandering the halls and striking up a (usually one-sided) conversation with anyone she meets.
(OC Asks!)
Highly anticipated collaboration between one of Zimbabwe's top tier reggae artist and billboard charting dancehall artist Nutty O. Banger! is a single off Dizzy Dee’s latest album called "New Sounds" featuring Marvin Priest, Slicker 1, Major E and production from Cymplex, Tman of Mount Zion Records and OGEBeats.

Your OC wakes up with a coin super glued to their forehead. How do they react?
Probably with (understandable) confusion as to how the heck it got there, followed by several (unsuccessful) attempts to remove it (cue a Wile E Coyote-esque montage of her trying various ACME products), and finally she’d…probably just accept it and go about her day with a coin stuck to her face.
(It falls off by itself at the very end of the episode, though–status quo and all that!)
