This DJ set was rustled up for Steo Laird the artist liaison officer for Fantazia and MC Energy who owns Fantazia Engurland. It is also in tribute to my DJ Slipmatt the Godfather of all things RAVE in which i would never have been a DJ without his inspiration. At the end of this set i chucked it as its a promo disk to let them no who is boss on the 1s an 2s so please excuse the the abrupt stop at the end that being said no 1 comes close to my DJ Slipmatt to even try should end in a almighty slap hahahaha . Hi everyone this is my late entry to this competition. It has always been my dream to DJ beside Slipmatt. I used to be in the Army. During my time in the Forces i started following Slipmatt which inspired me to get my first set of decks, that was in 1992. I was so fanatical about following my DJ that i would always be late for Monday morning parade or just AWOL hahahaha. Needless to say the powers that be got there knickers oh tied up an decided to put me in military prison. Needless to say as soon as i got out i would just find out where Slipmatt was playing an round an round we went lol. The Army eventually kicked me out over a technicality for some minor drug misuse. To this day i still try an get out every year to see Slipmatt. So when i saw this competition that i might get to DJ beside him i jumped at the chance. I am a very late entrent an the competition has been running for over 3 weeks. But i do know God loves a trier. I have never stopped practising through out the years an i have studied Matts mix tapes an i have done my best to mix as good if not better than the Godfather himself hahahahaha I am a desperado an every vote or like or comment will be met with love honour and respect, yours truly Peace Out DJ Smiley x
