For this year of remembering the loss of MF DOOM, I want to extend my respects to his brother Dingilizwe, DJ Subroc. It's hard knowing my favorite musician rebuilt himself from the biggest loss he ever faced, sooner than desired. Harder to wonder what could've been and if Dumile knowingly carried his brother's legacy well until his death.

I recommend KMD's Black Bastards album to get a real taste of the synergy they had. If you know the history it was a miracle that this could get released, because it's real good and it was hard to tell that this would be MF DOOM before the mask. But Zev Love X and Sub was in their element on this album, honestly as powerful as MF DOOM's early works. Felt good to finally hear this, I highly recommend.
