One downside of being a DJ: when you play a song so fast that you can't enjoy it at it's original tempo anymore.

Gonna make a 90's-2000's Throwback Techno/Rave Mix soon. It will be out of my scope of practice but with the right amount of optimism & timing, I can nail, & will completely dominate this mix. Nonetheless, some very interesting and perfectly executed sounds & rhythms (if mixed correctly) from the 90's & 2000's will really give you a taste of what rave culture was like back in the days. To say the very least, I'm excited to do this...

I've bought a mix board. Never really been much into becoming a DJ but I want to learn? It's a strange sort of hobby. I'm not sure how to get into using a mixer and I don't have a desire to make it my career. Mostly I'm hoping to get experience for my research. Help?
