Spencer (CO169) [background character] has appeared a total of 18 times in the invader zim franchise: 6 times in the invader zim dvd animatics, 7 times in the pilot and 5 times in the series.
In The Nightmare Begins (episode 1) dvd animatic he was supposed to have a voice line but was ultimately replaced with Tae.
That means Spencer was going to be originally voiced by Kevin Mcdonald.
In the Invader Zim pilot he had a different color scheme but was changed in the series, like most background characters that appeared in the pilot.
It was hinted that in The Nightmare Begins dvd animatic that he was the first ever stock character to be designed for the Invader Zim franchise, because he was labeled as KID #1 while Pilot Zita was labeled as KID #12
In the invader zim series it was confirmed that Darma (C604_01) and Turtle (C596_01) are his parents.
Thats an unnecessary amount of lore from a background character but who cares its Invader Zim
