Happy birthday in advance! What's the most useful thing you ever received as a gift?

I like most beers. It’s probably an easier question to ask me what beers I don’t like.

From one guy with an SO who's aware of his kinks to another, how did you ultimately reveal to your wife that you were into the things you're into? (My GF was ecstatic when I said I had fetishes -- she herself is big into monsters and demons lol, so knowing I had some alternative interests was reassuring to her when we were first dating)

I have usually not been that great at articulating that kind of thing, so it took awhile for her to finally understand what I am all about. There was some jealousy issues to deal with there as well, but in the end she’s more comfortable with it than she’s ever been.

She wasn’t really excited or dissapointed about me having a fetish in general, she just thought I was weird most of the time.

How much time in a day do you typically spend doing artwork?

I go on and off through the day, but most of my day is spent at my workstation in the common loft area of my house.

Aside from my second job and going out to run other errands, I pretty much don’t have any other obligations. So I try to be at my desk as much as I possibly can.

I can go through random energy spikes one way or the other, and my productivity is based a lot on momentum. The more I draw the more I want to draw.

I have tried to keep a strict work schedule years ago, but a lot of that slowly fell through. Now I pretty much stay at my desk no matter what and try to draw when I can.

First time in NYC, or have you been before? I love that place, just haven't been lately because it's so costly.

This was my first time ever being in NYC, so I managed to take a bunch of pictures of all of the sights I saw and the food I ate. It’s definitely very expensive, and we had to pay more money in certain situations because of a lack of oversight on how the whole city works, but all in all it was an amazing experience and I am really glad I finally got to see the city for myself.

Just wanted to reach out and say you're legit one of my biggest motivations to continue doing all my weird fetish stuff. Your art's been a favorite for a long time and your blogs illuminate what a cool dude you are. It'd be great to have the chance to chat at you a bit sometime about art stuff, and about what it's like doing it for a living and all. Either way, keep up the great work :D
