I have a soft spot for horror, especially for new takes on classic Gothic horror monsters. And this fic, written by Irishgrlnextdoor for Halloween 2020, satisfied that hunger like nothing else could.
Dick is a vampire, as do the rest of the Batfamily. Jason is an unwilling victim along with Roy and many others, who are captives subject to be hunted for sport every week. It's dark, gory, and sends chills down my spine. It made me wish more modern vampire stories can be written like this.
And, as someone who loves both dark!Dick and dark Batfam, this really is a must read, especially for Halloween time. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to be spooked!

I love this a both a soft, hopeful fic but also a (in my opinion) very realistic depiction of how relationships encounter issues and mend! Dickjay in the end, very soft and fun stuff that involves oblivious Dick, protective Artemis, and a fun tournament in the Outlaws headquarters!

This is what I would call a good entryway fic for omegaverse - it has elements like sex, a villain, heat cycles, mpreg, and a satisfying happy ending all in one! It starts with dubious consent that can make you go raise your eyebrow a little, but you'll be surprised at how well it ends for jaydick.
