Delilah had gotten used to the twists and turns of Central Yharnam, her stops for pastry distribution clear in her head. Alfred usually made himself her first stop, followed by a few of the shut ins. Gilbert was last, but as the small woman began to make her way back through the Cathedral Ward to navigate to his window, her eyes darted to the area she tended not to ever venture to.
Old Yharnam. She’d heard stories. She’d heard the whole place was infested with beasts, with hooded creatures and rogue hunters. She’d been warned away from it but... how could she stay away? What if there were people who needed her help? Taking a deep breath, she fastened her feathered cloak tightly around her shoulders, preparing herself for the worst.
The stories weren’t inaccurate. The beasts were smaller, but they were many. Shuffling past them as quickly as she could, Delilah kept her head down. There had been no sign of a human presence yet, and the girl was starting to lose hope. There were a few beasts tailing her, which wasn’t ideal. Looking for somewhere to duck in and lose them, a little nook caught her eye. It would do for now. What Delilah didn’t expect to find was a... home? Did someone actually live in here?
“Hello? Anyone ‘ome? Jus’ wonderin’ if I can hide in here a minute or two? Helloooo?”

Less a word, more a declaration. He was so assured of himself, how could he be? Fallen features sunk deeper, chin collapsing to collar bone. Such a rash decision it had been to enter a domain with the distant sounds of crackling flame. Beyond that an eerie…not silence. But a settling. The world beyond those rotting wooden gates awaiting nameless victims to wander into its midst. Join the ranks of the forgotten and abandoned souls. Had she but SIGHT perhaps this would have been avoided.
Claws would not have racked along her back. Teeth would not have clamped about limbs. Pathetic little wails she'd emitted that had drawn attention to herself. Though this one seemed not so unpleasant. Sympathy given to pitiful sobs. Saskia drew arms tighter about herself. Sleep seemed ever pleasant. Groans left her feeble lips as the man drew her upright, head lolling back on her neck. Sightless eyes gazing toward - was it the sky now ? " Are not all deaths unwarranted? But death doth come to all. " Weakly her head pushed itself against the man's shoulder; tattered ruffles more comforting than one would think.
" What…? A vial? " Blurry was the image at the bottom of her sights, small. Almost nonexistent. Blood stained fingertips grasped at its texture to analyze what it might be. " Possibly…Though, shameful, I am frightened. "
