Had a rough month or so with travel and yuck tummy issues so training has been back seat. However after a few visits to the doc and some extreme diet changes (clear liquid for a day followed by a few days on BRAT - bananas, rice, applesauce, toast) with no resolution, I just have to kick it up and suffer through. Been hitting some flywheel and trails but just barely getting back on to the training plan. Surprising Sunday ride was meant to be gravel and ended up on Gnarly wet mountaintown with added rain and hail. Lots of creek crossings with some added depth and slip factor. Went down in one and got a nasty cut on my knee which I'm holding together with steristrips. The knee is already scarred up, why not one more. Ended up on goal for weekend riding though and kicking off week 3 strong.
