The following message is brought to you by the idea that the only way your dream version of any given story will come to be is if you write it yourself…
Ancient legends of the Jungle Kingdom tell of a treasure called the Banandium Root, which supposedly rests in the Lost World, a seemingly mythical underground land of amazement and magic. Of course, such things would be nice to prove real, but who in the Jungle Kingdom, already a prosperous nation, is willing to risk it all chasing ancient whispers?
The answer, of course, is Void Kong, president of Void Company. An uncharacteristically avaricious Kong, Void chases his dream of being the richest Kong who ever lived by, to put it charitably, relying on his subordinates, director of manufacturing Grumpy Kong and director of intelligence Poppy Kong. Using his All-Mine Remote - an invention created for him by the latter two - Void manipulates the terrain of an uncharted island in search of the entrance to the Lost World and, beyond, that, the Banandium Root.
One might think the achievement of such a goal to be one’s greatest success, but to Void, it turns to regret as he finds that the Lost World is not a paradise of riches. Instead, it is the sunken remains of an island whose denizens, in their pursuit of dominance over the ocean, caved to the will of a madman, resulting in a war that cost them their home.
In the Lost World, the Kremlings have endured, and their king is eager to put Void’s All-Mine Remote to use restoring their homeland. Thus, Krocodile Isle rises again.
“Oh, don’t worry, my hairy, potassium-scented new…’friends’. Your great service won’t go unrewarded…you will have the opportunity to serve a real leader while your precious Jungle Kingdom falls to his feet.”
Whether Krocodile Kore is erupting or the ground shakes under the feet of a cheering army becomes difficult to discern in the wake of the noise that follows…a cacophany of voices chanting the name of he who has returned to menace the Jungle Kingdom once again.
“KING! K.! ROOL! KING! K.! ROOL!”
“DO YOU HEAR ME?! I’M FINALLY BACK! DO YOU HEAR ME…DONKEY KONG?!”
