It’s not all champagne and fast cars in startup land. It's with sadness that I have to tell you that Founders House will be closing down, one more victim of coronavirus. It’s almost 10 years since Founders House opened its doors as the first tech coworking space in the Nordics. Since then, hundreds of entrepreneurs have built their tech businesses from there, greatly aided by the camaraderie, mutual help, introductions, friendships, strong coffee and investors extended by the Founders House network. For years it was Copenhagen’s first point of contact for international startup visitors and investors, and after the move and creation of Startup Village it became the largest concentration of tech startups in the country. Sadly corona has proven too big an adversary as it was combined with existing space challenges. I want to take the chance to thank everyone. 1000s of people were part of making the community vibrant and useful. 100s of companies had their daily business there, all bringing knowledge and connections to each other. 10s of employees were a part of making it the most homey work space I've ever been in. Much love to you all.
