The first one is probably my favourite Jon x Sansa fic. It is a canon AU in which Jon abandons the NIght’s Watch to join Robb’s cause, and ends up spiriting Sansa away from Kings Landing. I find both Jon and Sansa very much in character, and the story deals beautifully with the apparition of their  feelings while they still believe each other to be siblings. A relatively short read, but complete in itself, and overall delightful !

The second one is by a well-known author (she wrote “Love and Honour”, THAT epic Ned x Cat fanfic), but her first Jon x Sansa story. It is a modern AU, in which Jon and Sansa are not related. It however still deals very well with the theme of Jon’s identity, and how he interacts with Cat. It is maybe a bit less Jon x Sansa centric than some other pics, but it deals beautifully with the whole Star family’s reaction to Jon and Sansa’s relationship.

Hi Ms.DKNC!

Big fan of your works here. I have read all of your Ned x Cat fanfics but I never left reviews on them. Not that I don’t want to, of course - because I do. I’ve been wanting to leave reviews but I’m kinda shy and I’m not really good in expressing myself, especially that english is not my first language. But I’m gonna try this time because you deserve a feedback to your amazing fanfics. So here it goes…

First of all, I want to thank you. Thank you for your huge contribution to the Ned x Cat fandom. Thank you for the feels that you make me/us feel from reading your fics. And most of all, thank you for the time and effort you exert in writing just to give us amazing fanfics.

Second, I want to say that you are my number 1 favorite author. I love, love, LOVE your fanfics so much! You write Ned and Cat so beautifully in them and so spot on, be it on canon or modern au. I love that you manage to keep them in-character even if they’re on a different setting. I don’t think anyone can write them like you do.

My ultimate favorite from your works is, of course, Love and Honour. I can still remember when I discovered that fic, it was on 55 chapters then. I normally don’t read WIPs because i don’t wanna be kept hanging, but then i got so taken with the premise that I started reading it. And from then on i got so hooked, i binged read those 55 chapters! Every wait for the next following chapters were so worth it. That fic is a masterpiece! Thank you for giving us a world where our favorite lovebirds survived!

My other favorites are ‘Parents of the Groom’ and your ‘Love Unexpected’ series. Actually no, scrap that. All your fanfics are my favorite! You are that good!

I’m so glad that I’m on the same ship as yours. You are an amazing writer, your fanfics becomes my escape when real life gets kind of stressful. You are the best thing that ever happened to this ship. You are like my NedxCat fanfic Queen/Goddess! 👸🏻 Never stop being awesome!

Aaand that’s all I can say for now. I hope I got the thought across. Sorry if my english is not clear. 😆

Don't ever feel compelled to update on a schedule. Or to update within a certain timeframe. As a reader, I know well the frustration of checking and checking on a fave fic only to find nothing new, and yes, it sucks. But as a writer, I know that sometimes the words flow like a river, and other times they don't want to come at all. Oh, yeah. And life happens. Work and people and illness and happy surprises--all kinds of things that pull you from writing. Don't let it become a job. Keep loving it.

I don’t know if you’ve ever watched Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but I read this whole thing like her big speech in the Gift. He makes the promise and takes the newborn babe, but he makes one other decision in this universe which starts to unravel his careful plan from the very beginning—endangering not only the baby boy, but Ned, his new wife, his own infant son, and all he holds dear; pitting him against the man he has called brother; and creating potential chaos in Robert Baratheon’s new reign just as it is beginning.

A pre-canon AU plot set in an otherwise book compliant Westeros spanning the years from the end of Robert’s Rebellion to the end of the Greyjoy Rebellion.
