I love Dexter’s Laboratory so much guys. The blend of retro cartoon antics, genuine heart of family, extraordinary character designs, beautiful worlds, iconic lines and a fun soundtrack.

It’s all just fun.

I adore the sub-casts of DL so it was quite a shame they ditched them in the Savino era. Instead of ditching them completely, I have conjured some head canons for how to make them more compatible to the main cast.

Most of the Justice Friends have alter egos as teachers at Hubert Elementary and are friends with Dexter and his family. Mum and dad get along with some members better than others.

Major Glory (Tucker Rossevelt) is their English teacher and Miss Spell (Patsy King) is his assistant.

Val Halen (Val Hall) is the music teacher.

Krunk (Kevin K) is the Phys Ed teacher.

Capital G (Felix Newell) works as an orchestra cellist and is Mee Mee's dad.

White Tiger (Jason Freeman) works at the dog pound.

Living Bullet (Byron Sherman) is an athletic runner.

Sam-R-I (Sam Tendo) is a lawyer (half the time for Tucker thanks to laws he breaks accidentally rather than reinforces).

Agent (Kasumi) Honeydew works as a forest school teacher (or whatever they're called in America), is pansexual, has a wife, best friends with Dexter's mum, works part time at the local research centre with Monkey and is Lee Lee's mum.

Her commander is Douglas' granddad.

I adore how in ‘Last but Not Beast’, Mom’s extent of not being cooperative with the rest of the family was just trying to let the rest of the family do what they want as a people pleaser, and letting herself get distracted by a penny on the floor.
