So, this is an intro about my character. It can be a bit hard to understand in the beginning, but I promise that once you understand it will look a piece of cake.

Imamu was a very ancient witch from Benin (West Africa). She was the first witch in the Vodun lineage. For those who don’t know, Vodun is the religion that originated later several other ones such as voodoo or hoodoo.

So, Imamu died early of illness in that time, something around 30-year-old. Bc of this she jumped to another body in Nigeria (also West Africa). She adopted the name of the original owner of the body, putting her name, Imamu, as a surname. She died a bit older this time, but she was wild and powerful, so her story passed away from generation to generation.

Those who follow the Vodun path knows about her and knows that they can invoke her whenever they need, so she was invoked several times through history by covens from everywhere. They would choose a young witch girl to be Imamu’s future body, and here’s where Kendra appears.

Kendra was born and raised in Devils Lake, she was chosen to be Imamu’s body against her will, but the reason they were invoking Imamu was stronger, so she accepted it. Everyone thought that once this witch takes over your body, your soul vanishes in darkness, which was not true. Kendra could never return to her body, but her soul now lies with her ancestors.

So, Imamu was invoked bc another coven was fighting this one and killing her descendants. It happened something around 6 months ago and she already destroyed almost everyone from this rival coven, just a few are still alive and well.

He is the first love of Henrietta Ahlberg. They parted ways but a short time after she turned him. He was unaware of his siphoner magic until he was turned and accidentally stumbled upon the fact he could ignite candles with a simple thought. With so much power suddenly available to him he became a completely different man. The once shy gentleman was turning into an egotistical mad man. Christian Ahlberg

Early Life

Christian was the second born son of the Ahlberg family around the 10th century on a cold winter’s night. Like most of his sisters and brother he was a kind and sweet child, at least on the surface. He was also quite the trickster and got into a fair amount of trouble when no one kept an eye on him.

Adolescence

As he grew up so did his rebellious nature. Instead of listening to tutors he sought out to teach himself the ways of life. By the time he was of marrying age he flat out refused to marry the girl his parents had selected as good match. He went so far as to leave home and not return for many years. He didn’t see the point of marriage just to produce more children and raise a family. He was a bit of a hopeless romantic. It wasn’t until he found love that he would return to his family to introduce her.

A love lost

The boy was only 18 when he ran away from home to pursue a life of his own. A traveled far and wide till he ended up in Rome in his early twenties where he met a beautiful girl named Brisca. The two fell madly in love and eloped as quickly as they could. They kept their marriage secret and Christian began working as a tutor for the girl’s younger siblings. The couple lived in secret bliss till one night Brisca’s father caught them together. It was then the pair ran off and Christian ended up home to announce his marriage. But the couple had not realized they had been sold out and soon after their arrival they were attacked in the night. During the scuffle, Brisca was indecently stabbed when she dove in front of a blade to save him. The attackers fled the scene leaving Christian to deal with his wife dying in his arms.

Vampirism

Few weeks had passed till the witches cursed the Ahlberg’s their immortality and the amazing gift of being able to turn humanity off. The once rebellious teen was now a frenzied animal tearing through the country side. Almost a century flew by before one of his siblings(not sure which one this would be but someone is free to volunteer if they read this, it can be more than one I suppose too if not all. Not sure how close our bunch is.) convinced him to turn on his switch and stop drawing attention to them. Because of these killings a few of the first breed of vampires came to existence starting Christian’s line.

Depression and Relapses

Of course by turning back on his humanity Christian began feeling the pain of loosing his wife. Along with crippling guilt it was quite some time before he began to his enjoy his immortal life. There were quite a few relapses throughout the years when he just wanted to quit thinking so much and let loose.

Currently

When Christian first ended up in Devil’s lake it was to burn the place to the ground. A small town was the perfect place for mischief but he soon realized this town was a little different than the rest. The supernatural world was alive and thriving. This was something he needed to be a part of, not destroy. He has spent the last couple decades to building a life in this place. He has even settled down and bought a book shop, though he has maybe fed on one or two locals that wandered in over the years…

anyway so when ulysses was 17 he made his first kill aka ur a werewolf bud

so he ran away from the hunter fam bc how u even gon be part of the fam when ur a werewolf

he found talia & joined her pack and all was good until many years later and the pack got split up bad times :/ they lost everyone except each other but they thought they lost each other so like WHO CARES ANYWAY RIGHT

right but wrong he got turned by a vamp so hell hybrid ulysses lmao so yeah that was abt 3 yrs ago he was turned ( aka when he was 26 )

now he’s come back to his hometown bc he’s kinda following his bud taryn since she’s basically all he got left

hi, guys! i’m amanda & i’m excited to be here and roleplay with you all. i’ve been eyeing this rp for a few days and finally sent in an app lol i’m pretty sure this isn’t going to show up in the tags bc this account is brand new but oh well, here are a few things about hendrix:

as stated on the app & on my desc, he’s an original werewolf. however, he’s a half brother to the other original wolves ─ he’s the product of a betrayal between his parents (think klaus mikaelson if you’ve ever watched tvd/to). (i didn’t want to get too deep into that bc it might conflict with the crawfords’ backstory; if it does lmk!)

because of this, he has always felt like somewhat of an outsider. he distanced himself a lot from his siblings even though he loves them very much, it’s just that there’s always been a part of him that doesn’t feel like he belongs with them.

he likes to observe people, human or otherwise, and he’s very perceptive. it’s easy for him to pick up on little details that would usually go unnoticed, and it’s helped him quite a bit throughout his life.

he’s kind of a loner?? he likes being alone but sometimes it feels like a burden to him. it goes back to feeling like an outsider with his family, and it also has to do with him not wanting to let anyone too close because he doesn’t want to get hurt.

the people who have hurt him, though, haven’t had good fates. unless he cares about them or needs them for whatever reason, commonly the people who wrong him end up dead.

actually enjoys being a werewolf. even though he can control his shift due to being an original & therefore not needing to turn every full moon, he usually does. there are few sensations he enjoys as much as running in wolf form (and ocasionally, killing)

he triggered his werewolf gene when he was 17 and that was around the same time the cheating of one of the parents was exposed, which made the transition even harder.

hendrix can be quite a smooth talker when needed. he’s very good at manipulating people to get what he wants.

it’s also hard for him to get really attached to someone, he’s usually a one night stand kind of guy (not only when it comes to flings/romantic stuff, but every relation he has w other people) but when he cares for someone, when he loves them, it’s intense
