i’m still laughing because today our heroes managed to:
rob an inn of sleeping people
nat 20 face punch a sleeping guard
adopt a sleeping cat
skip an underground maze (the second time the players have noped out on underground content) by succeeding a really hard check to climb a smooth wall
played a battle with an entire round of everyone missing their hits
changed server name to ‘dick vandals’

Want to Play?
Looking for 5-6 players with any level of experience for a 5e game in a home brew setting.
Campaign info. You and your party are joining a guild called Eternal Embers in the city state of Brens. Might be high in magic. Players may worship any god, pantheon will be set in stone after characters are established.
If you want to join submit
Player info. Name, age, D&D experience, timezone, what you want to get out of this game, and anything you think is necessary.
Character info. Name, race, class, backstory, personality, alignment, and reason for joining the guild. You may get your stats by rolling for them, using the point buy system, or standard set.
Be aware. You’re starting at level 2. The guild you are joining is mainly good aligned although you can be any alignment that is not evil . Home brew and Unearthed Arcana is allowed but a link to it is necessary and I, as the DM, can shoot it down if necessary so have something else there too if you want to apply with home brew or UA.

Possibly talking into the void here, but I'm starting a Kids on Bikes campaign, and rather than setting it the eighties, I'm setting it in a 'Wilderness Reform Camp' where parents send their kids to be tortured into model citizens.
i want it to sort of be a cross between camp crystal lake, that camp from Addams Family Values, with a subplot of a network of crooked judges getting kickbacks sending kids there.
I'm not asking for like, first hand accounts (don't re-traumatize yourself for me), but this is tumblr, I know someone on here can help!
Might set the camp in the hills of Kentucky cause then I get caves and things older than the rings of Saturn.

Chef comes to me and tells me that DM was complaining about the breadsticks, that he didn’t like them and that when they’re out we just won’t have anything (because he was whining like a 4 year old). He even said that DM went to the GM of the hotel (the one that I got the approval on before using said breadsticks) and told him he didn’t like them. No valid reason for not using them them was ever given. He’s just finding something to whine about.

My response is going to be this: when I’m running low on what we have, I’m going to order another box and not say anything.

This ever changing city provides links to many of the large island nations, and processes a vast amount of the country’s lumber. It has a relatively friendly rivalry with Eretria – Bisanthes call Eretrians coarse and uneducated, and Eretrians consider Bisanthes stuck up and lazy.
