The first morning after she invited a particularly handsome stranger to take her guest bedroom has Alice feeling a little nervous. First of all, the bathroom is adjacent to his room, which she tiptoes past in order to brush her teeth and take a quick shower. Peeking her head out after getting dressed, he doesn’t seem to have woken, so she tiptoes her way to the kitchen to get started on breakfast.
Breakfast foods are her absolute favorite, and with her new housemate, of course she was going all out! The best thing about having a farm, keeping livestock and growing her own crops is how much of a difference it makes in everything she cooks, both in the flavor and in how fulfilling it is to use ingredients she had a big part in making.
Soon enough, she has fluffy pancakes, scrambled eggs, a variety of breads, spreads, and fresh berries on the table, as well as both coffee and juice. When she sees Quincy coming down the stairs, Alice smiles and greets him cheerfully. “Good morning! I... may have gone a bit overboard with breakfast.” She admits with a timid chuckle. “I hope you’re hungry.”
