Okay, before you get any ideas—no, I didn’t get possessed, cursed, or hit on the head this time. I just figured I’d say what’s been bouncing around in my skull before another demon tries to interrupt.
You’re… annoying.
In the way that sticks with me. In the way that makes me think about you when I should be cleaning blood off my coat or pretending pizza counts as a balanced meal.
Somehow, you make the chaos slow down. Which is impressive, considering my life is basically one long boss fight with explosions. You don’t flinch when things get ugly. You don’t try to “fix” me. You just look at me like I’m worth sticking around for—even when I’m being a smart-mouthed idiot (which, let’s be honest, is often).
I’m not great at the whole feelings thing. I joke, I dodge, I pretend nothing gets to me. But you do. You get past the sarcasm, past the devil-may-care act, and yeah… that’s kind of terrifying. And kind of amazing.
