HI i read your nero - amputee stuff and i wanted to let you know!! my hc's of nero post dmc5 is that since he can fully 'decide' whether or not he uses mechanical arms, he decides to try and live amongst other non-demonic humans as an amputee and only utilizes his arms when battling demons!! to me it's him embracing his humanity while he goes and looks for a way back into hell to reach his father and his uncle <33 thank you SO MUCH for your hashtags!! <333

one thing ive talked about before as well is i think pre manifesting his trigger in addition to the breakers hes got a prosthetic hook that he uses for day to day business when hes not expecting a fight. the devil breakers are canonically fragile and expensive! (and also they explode and he lives with three little kids-- those things definitely go in a gun safe or equivalent when he takes them off.) but like prosthetics Are uncomfortable and once he manifests the spectral wings i think he starts wearing the hook a LOT less and uses the wings as aids at least around the house. consider newo holding a kid on his hip with one wing n vaccuming with his left hand while he lfits up da couch with the other wing. thanks 4 ur time

hey the thing about v dmc that i think was so interesting was like. he thinks him and vergil arw the same guy and i think hes wrong. and he wants to go bacl to vergil to be powerful and "whole" again. and i think it would have been so much more interesting if that did not happen
