A Tiny, Svelte Dmitri Young
I love fat baseball players, I've never made a secret of that fact. In fact, the other day, while searching for fat baseball players, I found that I'm the only Tumblr blog that has tagged posts "fat baseball players." It's probably because a) it makes me think that I'm just a few weeks of conditioning away from a pro career and b) it improves my self esteem while I snack deep-fried M&M's.
At the same time, I would rather see a healthy and productive Dmitri Young than a rotund, out of work one. And at 38, he seems to agree. Just look at this photo of the 60+ pounds lighter Dmitri:
How did he do it? What is his weight loss secret?
"I'm not eating like a Viking now. I've learned to hold off, and when I do get my treat, I don't abuse it. I'll eat one slice of pecan pie and call it a day, instead of eating half the pie or the whole pie."
Oh, that sounds hard. More pecan pie for me, then. Check out Jerry Crasnick's full piece (ha ha) for more.
