Bit more seriously though, the lib nat split is, unfortunately, probably the best thing for the coalition to do now. The libs can focus on rebranding and selling themselves to inner city seats and the nats can commit to regional stuff. They can villify each other if they want to, or just not talk about each other much and focus on their own policies. And as long as they get to the next election without anything too conflicting in their promises they can rejoin with cleaner party lines. It's hilarious that they collapsed, but given that the collapse of the libs is true regardless then this is probably the best thing for them long term
