Does it look like I'm kidding?
Context: my group was trying to fight an undead Hydra that was haunting a seemingly ghost town and our doppelganger rogue shapeshifed into Rambo as a joke before rolling strength to break into a house and hide from the Hydra. He then discovered that there were people sleeping there and he decided to wake them up to get information.
NPC: What's this?! What the hell are you doing in my house?
Rogue: Shut up, I need your help. I need you to tell me where I can find a wine house on this town; I plan on burning down the Hydra
NPC: *looks through the window at the massive angry Hydra fighting the rest of the party* Are you kidding me?!
Rogue: Look at my face and tell me: does it look like I'm kidding?!
Me: Dude, do you still look like Rambo?
The party loses their shit.
I need you to believe that I'm an objectifier, a manic ballad-writing womanizer. My perception of self rests on that.
I was unhappy with the initial sketch I did for this “cover”, so I redid it a few times. I’m satisfied with it now. And the timing is better too, my players have only just figured out what the title of this adventure refers to.
