DND Dynamics?
So I talked a bit about it on the discord server, about how fun it could be if the Four Heroes were able to somehow include DND Dynamics in their Weapon Menus.
But, what if they actually put a lot of different dice in their weapons, and were able to gamble a roll for either positive boosts or adverse effects? (And maybe with timers depending on the number of sides? For example, rolling a D20 after a 20-hour or day cooldown?)
Like, say they roll a D20, and land a 20; every stat and skill in use gets doubles, and the opposite if they land a 1, and different boosts or effects depending on the number?
AND maybe they can get some more specific boosts or effects depending on what the dice are made of? Or they get to roll for a choice of different specific effects (Roll a 20 and get 20 different options to choose between?), and then roll for a gamble on their specific stat/skill/weapon/element?
