Warriors of Waterdeep
A little FAQ about this game so far: 1. Even it is based on 5E, you don’t need to know anything about D&D to play. 2. Regular RPG knowledge applies, you need your healer for healing and buff, your mage for damage dealing (very important), your tank as shield and absorb damage and the last spot can be your utility belt. 3. Each “map” is a 4x4 grind, each row is considered as a zone, and each zone is 1 distance away. You start at the bottom row, and you can not be on the same row as monsters. Which mean you can initially deal melee damage to the 2nd row, range damage to 3rd row, and 4th row is out of reach. 4. You start with cleric and wizard, and can choose one character pretty soon, out of Fighter and Barbarian. Choose FIGHTER. This game separate character classes into 4 archtypes: Sturdy (blue), Skilled (Yellow), Tough (Red), and Mighty (Purple). There is one daily quest (Fight together) which need a party of each colour, and Cleric is blue, while wizard is purple. Barbarian is again blue, so choose Fighter (Red) to complete rainbow first. Your next character after Fighter/Barbarian is the one that you didn’t pick from first round, and rouge or Warlock (both yellow). Choose Warlock for range attack. Starting from the 3rd recruit, you can choose whatever you like. 5. I made the mistake of picking Barbarian, and not aware of the fight together daily quest until it is too late. Which, for whatever quest you can’t complete, you have the choice to swap it with another random quest, and you can only do it ONCE per day only. Again, just to give yourself more option, pick Fighter.
