Nerdy as in reclusive? The bookworm type?

She would be intrigued by them, it is a rare thing to see in The White Company. Most members of the mercenary group have neither of those traits, and those are the people she spends the majority of her time with.

She would take an interest in the MC’s books, would appreciate their quiet nature - would find pleasure in simply being in their presence without the need for words. Once she knows the MC better, she would join them in reading sessions. When in a friendship or a relationship, Alessa would be on the lookout for items that may hold your interest wherever she went: Old parchments, scrolls, books, artifacts. 

Don’t talk to her about History, however. She finds no interest in it, actively avoids it too.
