Hi I saw your soup post and i also have a bunch of bok choy entering the end of its life. Did you use a recipe? If so, would you share it with me? Thank you in advance!

This is absolutely wild to me, how that one soup post has been going around. I have soup about once a week, and post a photo of it, and I don't know why but THIS soup people are loving. Wild. The internet is wonderful, never stop.

The problem is. It's just Soup. I throw veggies and rice noodles in my bowl, and pour hot broth over it. Usually a fake pho broth. I say fake pho because instead of simmering broth for 24 hours, I boil water and add better than bouillon roasted chicken and pho spices. The meatballs are made with my dumpling filling. I'll make tiny dumpling meatballs, throw them in the freezer, and throw a couple into the pot on the stove as needed.

In general my steps are:

add cinnamon stick, anise pods, cloves, hunk of ginger root, cardamom pods, fennel seeds, red peppercorns or gochugaru flakes, and a hunk of chicken fat into a small saucepan. If I remember, I'll add some of the whites from a green onion. I don't bother with garlic or white onion because the buillon base those flavors in it. Same with salt. I let that saute a bit and add water. Once the water is boiling, I add a spoonful of the bouillon base (I've only ever used the roasted chicken one. I do have some of the pho base, but have not broken into it. I also prefer chicken pho flavor to beef, so this has worked best for my tastes).

As that simmers, I add whatever to my bowl. Always rice noodles. I've tried many types and brands, and my favorite so far has been waiwai noodles. Glass noodles have also made appearances, but I don't think since I've been regularly posting My Soup. Bean sprouts are great. Carrots, often. The green parts of the scallions from earlier. Bok choi if the store had The Good Ones. Whatever.

At some point I add my dumpling meatballs. Or dumplings. Again it's whatever is around. Soup is just a Throw Shit In A Bowl And Eat It meal, it's why I love it. I cook those until done, and put them in my bowl. I try to get the spices simmering for at least a half hour, but sometimes I'm impatient.

When my patience has run out, I strain the broth over my bowl. I spill it every time, I think it's mandatory you spill hot broth over your counter at this point. I cover the bowl with Something (usually the cutting board) so the noodles can cook. If you do this you have to make sure the broth was at a roiling boil so they cook all the way through. If you cold soaked the noodles you don't have to do this, but that requires an extra dish and who wants that.

I top it with an amount of hoisin sauce I do not want to admit to, and this sauce I found called "kimchili" sauce. It's spicy and lime based which is great because pho is usually served with a lime. I may also add kimchi directly to the bowl as well as the juice to make it spicier, but I haven't done this as often if I have a lot of bok choi.

It's delicious and usually my "I don't want to cook but need food" meal because most of the steps have been prepped in advance and I just have to throw things in a bowl or a pot and leave it alone and then everything can go in the dishwasher. It's gr8, I love my soup #MySoup

i think the minecraft youtuber thing is like on a 5 year cycle, like before dream it was markiplier and like jacksepticeye. like these youtubers get big, ppl get harmlessly annoying ab it bc the target audience is like all 13 year olds, a few years pass and the ogs grow out of it n move on to other interests, and the cycle begins anew w the next gen of 13 year olds. sorry 4 bein annoying in ur inbox im. quite stoned

Commissions are done through PayPal only, and transactions are final. I do offer the option to keep in touch via email and DM and will send screen shots of my progress to you when possible. Most of my activity is done during the nighttime, so do bear with me if the scheduling of updates is a tad off.

REMEMBER: 1 slot = 1 character

So lets say you ask for a poster of a trio, you will take three slots. These slots are there so I may keep track of orders and not be overburdened.

Anything can be requested, just be please be mature and clear about your requests.

Detailed descriptions and photo references are much, much, much appreciated!

I won't work with you if you request anything that would entice hatred, threats or even encourage apathy/belittlement towards a person/group of people.

Examples:

If you want me to depict people falling into hell for religious propaganda’s sakes, I won’t do it.

If you have a vendetta on anyone and ask me to create vent-art over them: I won't do it.

Or if you want me to draw someone of specific ethical group getting exterminated/hunted just for breathing, I sure as hell won’t do it.

HOWEVER, if your project is geared to the authenticity of non-biased viewpoints of historical events for educational purposes, then that’s totally fine! (I've become quite the history nerd, show me what you learned!) In short, I'm just here to have some fun with you guys, not start fights.

I will be holding maybe 30-40 slots starting NOVEMBER 9th when this journal is published, depending on what kinds of orders come in. If I get a bunch of sketch requests then I’ll be sure to have available slots for the more detailed slots! I will update when slots are filled as frequently as possible.
