I remember Nils and me discussing and thinking about the artwork for #DNMF in 2014. After hours we came to the conclusion that a picture of a majestic predator should be the main theme on the title page of the 5th #Serum114 Album. It had to be an animal which is also a symbol for a shape of the night. Then, 2 more hours and 6 beers later we could not think about any cool predator (like a bat or a shark or even a black panther), the only animal which came on our minds was an owl. Well, imagine we really had printed an owl on our album cover. We‘re both lucky that finally a better idea came to our minds. . A thing that I like about bridges is that you can stand on them. I like this one special i was standing on for this picture, because i was able to take a picture of the most beautiful city in the world. Well, i do love bridges. I like the big ones and the small ones all the same, bridges are a symbol of connection. One special thing that i really like about bridges is that you can stand under them, especially when it poors down. As much as i love northern Germany, why does it always have to rain? . . . I found northern Germany always a littler rougher than the rest of the country. It’s flat, its windy and it RAINS every day. Having this said a several times actually it doesn’t, but sometimes it feels like it does. Anyways, I like it. People are kind of callousy and have a dry sense of humor. And they do one special thing more than some other Germans, they talk to each other. I always found it much easier to get in contact to people up there in the german north. . . .
