DAN AND PHIL APPRECIATION MEETUP

(i appologize for the icky banner lol)

I have seen the recent events and drama (which I will not be discussing) and it made me sad to watch everyone start fighting. We are all a community of people who should be united by our common love of Dan and Phil. I want to try and bring us all back together and get us back on track on why we’re all part of the phandom. The purpose of this event is to remind us why we are all here in the first place and how much we love our two internet rats Dan and Phil.

Now for the details...

What this is:

Everyone can post selfies, gif sets, edits, phanart, phanfic, textposts, anything really, and talk about why you love Dan and Phil. You can talk about your favorite videos and why you love them, you can talk about how you discovered their videos and why you started watching them, you can make fan content inspired by something Dan and Phil made or something you love about them. Really you can post whatever you want as long as there is no negativity, because this event is focused on reminding us why we love Dan and Phil.

How to join:

This event will start on Saturday March 10 at 10 am PST (time zone converter here) and go until Sunday March 11 at 11:59 pm PST.

To join, all you have to do is make a post during the meetup and tag it #dnpappreciationmeetup

Then go to the tag and look through everyone’s posts and like, reblog, and engage with everyone! Have discussions, be happy, and make new friends!

If this event doesn’t flop, I am going to also be holding little mini games on my blog! These will be things like scavenger hunts, themed content making, 7 second challenges, cards against humanity, one word story games, and more!

ABSOLUTELY NO DRAMA OR DISCOURSE WILL BE TOLERATED! THIS EVENT IS TO CELEBRATE OUR LOVE FOR DAN AND PHIL. PLEASE KEEP DISCOURSE ELSEWHERE THANK YOU!

I never thought they’d come to Australia and i was accepting the fact that i would never get to meet them or see them at a convention but here we are. ty for all the friends ive made and helping me get into uni. So i just got home from a long drive, hopped on tumblr, and saw that there’s a dnp meetup going on to talk about our love for these men? And even though im probs late (as always) i just HAD to join in because i love them with my whole heart :(( Ive been watching Dan and Phil since i was a tiny baby in 2010 and they quickly took over my life. It wasnt until 2013 that i started this blog and found this amazing community of people to freak out about them with! During tatinof i wasnt able to get VIP tickets, but this year, I’m lucky to be meeting them twice at their tour! I can’t wait to have them sign my high school yearbook from three years ago :’) theyve done so much for me and for so many others and i hope they know that!
