it's a good thing I always forget how sad Jin-Roh is because it wouldn't be good everytime.

I watched it in English for the first time while I was painting and it's funny how so much more of it gets across to me. there's definitely a reason people rag on English dubs but Mamoru Oshii stuff seems to get translated/localised/acted consistently well if you ask me...

I feel dumb that I'm only realizing it now but i guess watching it in my (more relatable) native language really made me realize that past the alternate history, the cool armor suit, the political drama, and the main character's PTSD.....

Jin-Roh is a tragic love story, man.
