The Spontaneity of Good Fortune
With bags packed, and her small apartment locked away, Donna headed toward what she now considered her other home. Southern Charm wasn’t far at all from her place, in fact it was less than a block away, which meant good news for the blonde and even better news for the business of the bakery.
Genie hadn’t taken a liking to it though, as he’d come to call her doughy from too many scones and croissants. She didn’t mind though, if seeing Wes meant a few more high kicks during practice, then so be it. Seeing those electric blue eyes and the sly smile were worth it to Donna any day of the week.
This one was going to be an interesting day all the same. She wasn’t sure if Sue had mentioned to the man that he would have a passenger on his trip to Canada, nor had she really thought about what would happen once they got there; but for Donna, the small details didn’t matter. She was far more concerned about her daydreams of Wesley Bradshaw in hardly a stitch of clothing to care about benign particulars.
“I’ll take a large coffee to go, and two… no, better make it three blue berry scones.” She chirped, tapping on the glass with her free hand, her smile wide as she hoisted her rather heavy bag onto her shoulder.
