Send me 'I'm sorry' for my muse's reaction to seeing yours at their hospital bedside.

It had been on their last adventure that this had happened. She didn't remember much of the 'accident', thankfully. She remembered enough to know where and when it had happened, but that was about it. Perhaps she'd be able to remember later, but for now she was content to remain oblivious.

She forced her eyes open, surveying the room-- some kind of hospital?-- and noticed the Doctor sitting there at her bedside. She offered him a weak smile, "Hey… How long've I been out…?"

The Doctor's eyes widened. He knew. This version of himself knew. He hadn't met a single other alternate Doctor who was aware of the Curator. The Time Lord's gaze intensified, and he stared directly into his counterpart's eyes. "How much do you know?"

The last person he ever expected to see on his doorstep, the last woman he ever should be near, or let near the TARDIS again. But what the hell was he supposed to do? Turn her away, bloodied and broken? That was something he could never do. He could never turn away anybody who asked for help. "Right, okay just-- just hang on right here. I will be /right/ back. What's your name?" He didn't have to ask her name, he knew it-- but it would be easier to come off a stranger this way.

Donna stood at the door of the stranger. Her arms wrapped around herself as she looked to the man. Her body has been bruised, and cut. She let tears roll down her cheeks gently. Donna was hurt, and afraid.

"My name is Donna" she told him.
